OTTAWA May 19, 2011 – Local high tech startup, SageTea Group is hitting stride with deliveries of innovative visualization technology to the Government of Canada. Their new system, commercially known as “SageTeam Visualization” has had some rave reviews by experts in the Government of Canada.

SageTeam Visualization is the embodiment of that old saying, a picture is worth a thousand words. After two years of R&D, the company has developed an intuitive, easy to use way to efficiently visualize large amounts of data as dense graphics. They had early success with their product being used in high level government reports such as Canada's Fifth National Communication on Climate Change.

$0 to $999 - 2.5%
$1000 to $3999 - 5%
$4000 to $7999 - 7.5%
$8000 or more - 10%
Commissions are not capped.
Bonus of $1920 is paid if rep's volume is $8000 or more in the 4 week period.

Independent Status
The "Independent Sales Representative" is, and will continue to be considered, an independent agent or contractor. The "Independent Sales Representative" understands and agrees that SageTea Group will not reimburse any "Independent Sales Representative" for transportation, accommodation, food or any other expenses incurred. The "Independent Sales Representative" has control independent of SageTea Group over the time the "Independent Sales Representative" chooses to solicit business, the areas in which the "Independent Sales Representative" chooses to solicit business, and the manner in which businesses are to be solicited, so long as such manner is lawful and in accordance with the policies of SageTea Group as set out in the SageTea Group policies and Applicable Law. SageTea Group does not employ agents and there is no employer/employee relationship between SageTea Group and any "Independent Sales Representative". SageTea Group will not deduct or pay income tax, employment insurance premiums, government pension plan premiums, employer health tax premiums or any other similar amounts. Any "Independent Sales Representative" is solely responsible to make these payments, as applicable.
THE INDEPENDENT AGENT RELATIONSHIP DOES NOT QUALIFY THE AGENT FOR MINIMUM WAGE, WORKERS COMPENSATION OR EMPLOYMENT BENEFITS. AGENTS WHO MUST COLLECT G.S.T. MUST HAVE THEIR OWN G.S.T. NUMBER.
Forgery, Fraud and Misrepresentation
The "Independent Sales Representative" understands that falsification of Information (Including a customer signature), and obtaining information through misrepresentation, deceit or falsehood may constitute forgery and/or fraud. Forgery and fraud are criminal offenses. The penalties for forgery and fraud include imprisonment. The Employee agrees not to commit forgery or fraud while representing SageTea Group and understands and agrees that committing forgery, fraud or any other criminal offense while representing SageTea Group are actions that will result in termination of their status, in addition, any wrongful behavior, whether or not criminally punishable, will result in immediate termination of their status.
Integrity of Sales
SageTea Group is serious about upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism with respect to its representations to the public. If the "Independent Sales Representative" deliberately misleads potential or actual customers, the "Independent Sales Representative" may be subject to any remedies prescribed or permitted by law, whether by SageTea Group, its agents, or the appropriate authorities.
The "Independent Sales Representative" agrees to abide by all standards as described in the company Staff and Managers Guide.
